When I was introduced to green smoothies about five years ago by my old friend Denise Sweet, I was really happy. I had not juiced for years, but I missed the concentrated nutrition found in juice. One of the foremost raw foodists had discovered that blending fruits and greens was a simple, fast, and possibly better source of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. And all you need is a blender.
Since then, I have had at least a quart of green smoothie almost every day. You can find out more about green smoothies at this site: http://greensmoothiegirl.com/
